Every item comes with a manifest: what it is for, the data it takes, the states it must handle and the rules it follows. Your agent reads that, installs what it needs from the registry, builds the screen and checks it with the same lint and screenshots we use.

- MCP ready. The shadcn MCP server reads the same settings, so Claude Code, Cursor and Codex can search and install items.

Questions
Is Flightdeck the same as AirControl?
Flightdeck began as AirControl v2 and grew into a different product: a design system with manifests, every state and an agent workflow, where AirControl is a library of pages. AirControl stays available on its own. Everyone who bought AirControl before Flightdeck came out gets Flightdeck at no cost.
How do licenses work for a team?
A license belongs to your organisation, not to one person. Owners and admins invite people and hand out seats; each person signs in with their own email and makes their own API keys. Need more seats later? Upgrade and pay only the difference.
Can my coding agent use it?
Yes, that is what it is built for. Add the @flightdeck registry with your API key, and the shadcn CLI and its MCP server can find and install any item with the items, styles and data it needs. The kit also ships a skill file, an llms.txt index and one markdown page per item.
Which stack does it work with?
Flightdeck is Tailwind CSS v4 with Astro components, plus static HTML for every screen and state that works in any stack. React versions of every component arrive in the next update, free like every update. The manifests are detailed enough for an agent to port an item to Vue or anything else.
Is there dark mode?
Yes. Every screen, block and component ships in light and dark, with WCAG AA contrast in both. The screenshots on this page switch between the two.
Can I see it before buying?
Yes, as screenshots: the gallery shows every area in light and dark. After buying you browse the whole kit online in your account, download it, or install items straight from the registry.
Do you charge VAT?
We sell to businesses. Dutch businesses pay 21% VAT; businesses elsewhere in the EU with a valid VAT number pay none (reverse charge); outside the EU there is no Dutch VAT. You get a proper invoice by email.
Is Flightdeck an official Tailwind Labs product?
No. Flightdeck is made by themes.dev and builds on the open-source Tailwind CSS framework.
